MICHAEL MANNING

Michael is an illustrator, animator, tattoo designer and comics artist. His artwork has been exhibited in galleries and museums internationally, including San Francisco’s prestigious Yerba Buena Center for the Arts. Manning’s best known works include The Spider Garden and Tranceptor graphic novel series (NBM Publishing) and the art collection Inamorata (Last Gasp). Born in NYC, Manning studied Film and Animation at Boston’s School of the Museum of Fine Arts. He recently received the 2008 Garland Award for Best Multimedia/Digital Design for his anime-style projection sequences for the techno-opera Paradise Lost: Shadows & Wings.
