Keith Mallett was born in Roaring Spring, Pennsylvania. He began painting at age twelve, and later studied at the Art Students League and Hunter College in New York City. While in New York, Mallett began working for the music industry, painting covers for Virgin Records and creating T-shirts for music groups. In 1980 he moved to Los Angeles and then to San Diego, where he currently resides. In California, Keith worked as a freelance artist, and for fifteen years as the
in-house artist for Frontline Art Publishers. He was recently commissioned to design the official limited edition print
commemorating the 50th anniversary of Jackie Robinson’s breakthrough into major league baseball. His artwork can
be found in many private and corporate collections, and is currently published by Canadian Art Prints, one of the largest fine art publishers in the world. A feature article on Keith appeared in U.S. Art Magazine, and Décor Magazine recently featured him in an artist’s profile. You can see more of Keith’s art at www.keithmallett.com.
