ROYAL ROGER EUBANKS

Royal Roger Eubanks (1879–?) was born in Tahlequah, the capital of the Cherokee Nation. He graduated from Cherokee Male Seminary, where he later became teacher and superintendent. In addition to his teaching and writing, Eubanks was a commercial artist. He illustrated books and stories and produced political cartoons for the Cherokee Nation newspaper and the Star Cartoonist syndicate in Chicago.
