TARA AUDIBERT

Tara Audibert says she has been an artist since her mother caught her drawing windows on her pink puppy wallpaper when she was two, and later developed her skills drawing E.T. with indelible marker on her dolls crib, for which she did not learn her lesson trying to scrub it off with S.O.S pads! Mostly grown up now, Tara resides in Sunny Corner, New Brunswick with Curtis Carey, her spouse & co-host of The Curtis and Tara Show podcast (www.curtisandtarashow.com). Retired from animating for TV after over a decade working on shows including Johnny Test, Olliver’s Adventures, Delilah & Julius and Zoom, she has written and illustrated a children’s book, Matthew Loses His Laugh, and illustrated River Run, an educational comic for The Healthy Aboriginal Network. She is of Maliseet ancestry, and recently received a grant for a series of paintings of New Brunswick aboriginal women entitled Sisters. During her non-podcasting time Tara teaches art and animation at the New Brunswick Community College Miramichi.
